I’ve been familiar with Julie Kagawa’s books for quite a few years, and when I heard about THE IRON RAVEN, the first in the new The Iron Fey: Ravenfall series, I absolutely had to feature it. It stars Puck, one of my favorite characters, and it debuted on February 9, 2021:
You may have heard of me…
Robin Goodfellow. Puck. Prankster, joker, raven, fool… King Oberon’s right-hand jester from A Midsummer Night’s Dream. The legends are many, but the truth will now be known as never before, as Puck finally tells his own story and faces a threat to the lands of Faery and the human world unlike any before.
With the Iron Queen Meghan Chase and her prince consort, Puck’s longtime rival Ash, and allies old and new by his side, Puck begins a fantastical and dangerous adventure not to be missed or forgotten.
According to your website bio, you’ve lived in a lot of interesting places! What has been your favorite place to live and why?
I think my favorite place is surprisingly where I’m living right now in North Carolina. I know many would think Hawaii would’ve been a dream come true, but there were things about living in Hawaii that weren’t my favorite. Like the rain, and the amount of giant bugs. I’ve actually scared people away from vacationing in Hawaii from the monstrous spider and poisonous centipede stories I’ve told, lol.
*All the shivers.* Obviously, I’ve always loved the character of Puck. How did you know he needed his own story in THE IRON FEY: EVENFALL?
Long time fans have been wanting a Puck novel for awhile. I figured this was the perfect time to return to the Iron Fey world and finally give the Great Prankster his own story.
Wonderful. What kinds of stories do you wish there were more of?
The kinds where people wrote whatever they were passionate about, regardless of who they are or what is popular now.
This is probably my favorite answer of all time. What are some of your current projects?
